The edifice of the Sta. Rosa Hospital and Medical Center started on 2005 and was completed on December 2007. It was inaugurated on the 20th of January 2008 and likewise the operation started on April 9 of the same Year. SRHMC is a tertiary hospital (now level 2 hospital as per DOH new category) with 99-bed capacity. It is located at the heart of the City of Santa Rosa at Brgy. Balibago adjacent to Waltermart and in proximity to Enchanted Kingdom. It is easily accessible via South Luzon Expressway, as well as other alternative routes via National Hi-Way. Santa Rosa Community, its adjacent municipalities and nearby Industrial Complexes (Laguna Techno Park, Laguna Science Park, Carmelray, LIIP Mamplasan, etc.) shall have the privilege of availing the services of Sta. Rosa Hospital and Medical Center that aims to provide and deliver quality patient care programs.

On July 27, 2020, Sta. Rosa Hospital and Medical Center Inc. stepped up to a new level and adopted with a new name, Unihealth- Sta. Rosa Hospital and Medical Center Inc. to address continuing difficulties of being mistaken for a government hospital and to take advantage of the benefits of economies of scale through an association with a branded and established organization.
